My cat is losing a lot of fur...?

What can i do, cause he sheds a lot, everyday i'm removing hairballs off the backof my chair where he sleeps. any tips

You should be able to find some gloves at a pet store designed specially for brushing your cat. when you are petting him it comes off on the glove..there are also beds that look like little blankets that they lay on that will also grab the hair. You can put it where they normally lay or sleep.

Try adding a little olive oil in his diet and if you can keep the room or house cooler this may help. (sometimes cats shed excessively when house temp. is too warm) brushing your cat is ideal though. Good Luck!!

Give him food with more nutrition in it. He is loosing fur because he doesn't have enough  nutrition to keep his fur in place.Mean while, comb off the shedding fur so it wont get around your house. (I have a cat with the same problem)
