How does writing for Askables work?
Askables has a points system and you also get ranked on different levels. The levels are Contributor, Helper, Expert, and Top Expert. The revenue share you can get ranges from 50 to 80 percent, with Contributors earning the least and Top Experts earning the most. What determines your level are the points you get for doing different things on the site like writing articles, answering questions as an expert, and commenting on other posts/articles. As your points increase, so does your level. But if you become inactive and quit bothering with the site, your points can go down and you’ll lose levels and as a result also reduce the amount you can earn through revenue share on your content.
Do you own your own content or are you selling your content to Askables?
Askables does not claim ownership to your content, but you are agreeing to let them display it on their site.
How does Askables pay?
You can either opt to put in your Adsense publisher number and get paid directly by Google (setting up an Adsense account isn’t all that hard if you don’t have one) or you can just in your Paypal email address and have Askables send the money to you, whichever works best for you. I actually like this about them because there are some people who would prefer to get paid with just Paypal.
What is a realistic amount you can earn with Askables?
This is not a site I’ve used myself, but I am quite sure it’s only extra money. Everything would depend on how active you were and how much you helped to promote your own content. Different people have had different results here. But if you’re doing this along with lots of other things for extra cash, then suddenly you might find you have a little more than just extra cash in your wallet.
