Is the economy going to impact what you spend on Christmas? Do you think you'll spend more or less?
asked 2 years ago
Absolutely the economy has effected how we will do Christmas this year. My husband was laid off. I'm a full time student with 2 small ones at home. I explained to the boys that Christmas is more about helping others and spending time together as a family. We spent under $200 and are all but finished shopping.
I believe the economy has effected everyone - some more than others, but again Christmas is not about extravagant gifts.

Probably only about $100.00. I really wish I could spend more, but as of now it looks like we will just be getting a few things for our son and daughter and cards for the rest of the family.
