If you look closely enough you will be able to see two little dark sacks inside the fish. One is the internal organs. The second, depending if it is a male or female, will be an egg sack with eggs inside. (You may even be able to see the eggs). The tiger should be very plump. almost like a rounded square.

If your TB is about to lay her eggs, she'll be creating a nest among the gravel at the bottom of your tank, in a secluded spot, where other fish might not bother the young. If she is about to lay eggs, you are lucky, since tiger barbs normally don't breed in home aquaria very often. Be sure you keep your water clean and the temperature constant. Good luck!

Tigerbarbs do not makes nests. I have made breed tigebarbs and emerald barbs already. If you want to breed them and give chances for the fries to survive. You should put the adults~3pairs in a separate aquarium with soft water and some artificial grass ar the bottom (it prevents eaiting  of the eggs for parents.)
