Does organic produce go off quicker?

How do they keep it fresh without preservatives?

Fresh fruit and veges don't have preservatives.

It isn't preservatives that organic produce is free from. It's pesticides. Like bug spray.

I doubt if you'll find preservatives on your fruit & veg. Being organic equates to farming free from pesticides & harmful sprays. Generally I find the organic stuff I buy lasts longer - the fresh produce at the grocery store & often picked (unripe) long before it reaches the shelves, kept in cold stores for I dunno how long & tends to go off quicker.
