I have a 1989 Honda prelude that will not start when it sits in the sun too long.

I know a good bit about cars but this has me and my normal shop stumped. We checked the fuel pump starter and sparkplugs aand fuel filter. There is enough fuel getting to the engine. we thought maybey timing but it is right on. any ideas what it might be?

Have you checked the fuel pump relay? Sometimes when they are going bad they won't work in hot weather.

I think there must be something wrong with your fuel pump, you should have it repaired or replaced.

By the way, Tmart for car acessories is suggested.
