Yes, because google allows you to get apart of the earnings (Ad Revenue). Google has programs like Adsense that allows you to add Ad's to your website, blog, videos, etc. and every time some one clicks on the advertisement you can get paid.
So google is not all about them self, they are about provided resources for all ages, races, etc. They came up with a concept to make life easier. Why stress on a answer, when you can google it.
