Yes, I have read most of the Harry Potter series and absolutely LOVE it. The books in order from first to last are as follows:

1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone  -- Released June 30, 1997

2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets -- Released July 2, 1998

3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban -- Released July 8, 1999

4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire -- Released July 8, 2000

5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix -- Released June 21, 2003

6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince -- Released July 16, 2005

7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Released July 1, 2007

Yes, I have read the Harry Potter series and I also enjoy the stories. LydJoys did an excellent job at outlining the names of the books and their release dates.

The books are wonderful for children and adults!  My husband and I enjoyed reading them together, of course we each had to have our own books as I read faster than him.  My in-laws loved them, and so did my mother.  I can't wait to read them to my children!

The thing that I liked the most about the HP series is the way they evolved. When I read the first i thougtht "That was a cute kids book". At the end of the series the characters had grown up in so many ways. They had stared Death in the face and their lives were changed forever. Harry was no longer the naive little boy putting up with a bad foster family. I would recommend the series to anyone as a good read. But be warned once you start the series you can't stop until the end.
