What are the recommended/typical tests done before a gallbladder operation?

A simple scan, like an ultrasound, can detect gallstones. Symptoms from gallstones are a harsh, intestinal reaction to fatty and greasy foods. I developed gallstones while I was pregnant with my first child. I was throwing up violently when I ate anything that was at all fatty. Gallstones also cause a pain in your back. I thought my pain might have been kidney stones, but the gallstones were detected while looking at my kidneys.
Gallstones do not always require surgery. Accommodations can be made in your diet which may be enough. Also, the large particle stones are less dangerous than the smaller ones. The small ones can get stuck in the bile duct.
A laparoscopic surgery is a one-day, out-patient procedure. I had it three weeks after my c-section and did fine. Three small incisions and the gallbladder was out! I expected to feel much better after the surgery. However, I was surprised to find out that your body takes a while to adjust to your gallbladder being gone. My doctor said within a month, I would be back to normal foods. But bland foods were fine for me for that month. My mom also had the laparoscopic surgery and went right back to her normal routines and diet. Hope this information was helpful.

Typically and internal scan which is very rountine and common.
You can have a laproscopic colesysectomy which is pretty simple and quick
or a more invasive cut.
I had a lapro and life is so much better now.
