Does crying has any disadvantage?
asked 2 years ago
I would mention that it depends on the person who is crying.
If you are asking about an adult, I tend to aggree with ledracjun who replied that crying helps releasing inside tensions. Crying in public could be very acceptable in certain situations, depending on the cultural background.
But if you are talking about an infant, a young baby or a child you will get another answer. Their cries are mostly to let the adults know that something is wrong and a need has to be fulfilled.
Also, in adults, unstoppable cryings could be a sign of depressive disease. In that case, the person needs to seeks for medical help if s/he has not seen someone yet.

Crying is often the result of feelings of sadness, pain, and frustrations, but after crying many people experience a feeling of release. Many studies have been done which examine the effect that crying has on the body, and most of them have actually found that crying actually has a negative impact physiologically. However, many people including psychologists have always believed that crying is good for you

Not at all because crying is an outlet of sad emotions. Have you ever laugh if you are sad? or have hurt feelings to somebody? It will only be a disadvantage if you cry out loud alone in a public places. They might think you are insane. You know what i mean??
