what is it like to have a baby? good? are bad?

The experience is different for everyone, many things contribute to either a bad or a good experience. Your doctor, birth place (hospital, home, birthing center) health of the baby, health of the mother, over all it is a safe bet to say that yes it will be painful, but after holding your child in your arms you will forget all about it.
Good Luck!

If you are in a good relationship, then having a baby is wonderful. Sometimes when I think back to my births, they were not exactly fun and I didn't feel too warm and fuzzy when in extreme pain. My kids are both at school now, I found having a baby very demanding on my time and quite tiring with not getting enough sleep. It is worth it as the baby stage is over quite quickly. It's fun when the baby learns to do new things and to talk and can kiss you and say" I love you". That's the best part.

I am currently expecting a baby in early February of 2010 and will soon be a mom of four girls. My three girls can't wait to see her and even though my youngest will be 2 next month, I know that she would love to see her baby sister. I can't believe how big and tall my girls are.
Having a baby is one of the greatest feeling but can sometimes be overwhelming since they can be a handful there but if you have at least 2 or more, well, the more bad stuff will pop up but the good times do come up more depending on the situation. I wouldn't trade them in for the world but I am not looking forward to getting contractions and getting the pain. But I do love the epidural. You gotta love that.

well, aside from being pregnant on the wrong time with the wrong man... having a baby is a good thing. I believe in this, from the moment you knew your pregnant... you'll feel anxiety, stress, hardship and even financial and physical pain but all in all, when you sit down and reminise those times... those are the moments you'll love and cherish...

It's a project for life. Once it's there you can't go back. But before making the decision to have or not a baby you have to consider lots of things. Your lifestyle, if you can afford having one more in you family, it's not easy raising a child it requires lots of your time, pacient and money etc.. But certanly is beautiful experience, full of love and joy. Take your time to make your decision, once you decided it, enjoy.

Although it's a very rewarding to bring a child into the world, it's also stressful. It's almost like nobody can prepare you enough for the patience needed or the lack of sleep. Nothing is about you anymore (not really), it's all about making sure you nurture your baby enough, feed him/her right, give him/her the right amount of sleep, give him/her clothes baths trips to the park doctor.. To me it's worth it, But it's a devotion that has no comparison to any other comittment in the world.

It is very painful, but in the end it is absolutely and completely worth it!
