Vitamins are the most essential nutrients required by the body. Body requires vitamins for various process and functions that it needs to perform.Their are various vitamins that are required by the body for various different functions . Let us know the benefits of some of the vitamins.

 

Vitamin A - Vitamin A is very helpful for improving the eyesight.Vitamin A is needed for the growth and development of different body parts like hair, teeth, bones , nails etc. The different sources of food that are rich in Vitamin A are milk, egg, spinach , carrots etc.

 

Vitamin B - Vitamin B contains of various list of vitamins like Vitamins B1, B2, B3,B5, B6, B12. Vitamin B helps in generating energy from the food that we consume so that body can do it different functions.Vitamin B is needed for maintaining proper nervous system.Vitamin B is needed to maintain the health of skin and also prevent skin diseases. The various food sources of Vitamin B are fish,peas,beans, nuts, dairy products , strawberries etc.

 

Vitamin C - Vitamin C is required by the body for various purposes like keeping gums healthy,blood vessels and bone healthy. Vitamin C helps to fight infections and also helps in the healing of wounds.Vitamin C is found in different foods like mangoes, onions, lemons, oranges, grapes,tomatoes, cabbages etc.

 

Vitamin D - Vitamin D is helpful for strengthening the bones and the teeths.Vitamin D is helpful for enhancing the calcium absorption capacity. The various food sources for Vitamin D are egg, milk and dairy products, olive oil, peanut oil, sweet potatoes etc.

 

Vitamin E -Vitamin E is useful in the formation of red blood cells and also it takes care of lungs and keep them healthy.Vitamin E is also helpful for maintaining the health of eyes and hearth and keeping heart diseases away. The various sources of Vitamin E are leafy vegetables , nuts, whole grains, eggs etc

 

Vitamin K - Vitamin K aid blood clotting. Vitamin K is needed in the body when we get injured . Vitamin K helps in healing the wounds.Good sources of Vitamin K are dairy products, cereals, cauliflower , soybeans etc
