New York International Auto Show

The New York International Auto Show is a nine day annual event and is known to draw a large number of visitors for the exhibition. The show gives companies in the auto world, such as manufacturers, an opportunity to showcase what they have to their potential customers through hands - on experiences. This year, the show was held between the 10^th and 19th of April. A number of cars in different categories were introduced during the show for 2010. Production Car Introductions included the Land Rover LR4, Nissan Nismo 370Z and GCM Terrain while the Concept Car Introductions included the Mitsubishi Outlander GT Prototype and the Scion iQ.

The show receives massive promotions prior, with the 8^th of April this year being used for press previews to sensitize the public. The show was held in Jacob Javits Convention Centre with the official opening date set for the 11^th of April. There were dealer previews held on the 9^th but only for those invited. This has been the place to be for car lovers for a long time and the show is mostly organized for whole family experiences.

The auto show is the best place to experience hands - on the cars you may never be able to buy through test drives. It is also the place to meet your favorite celebrities as well as have a chance to get away with prizes and giveaways such as hats and t-shirts.
