2009 Latest Car Designs

GM has unveiled a new Cadillac Escalade as well as Cadillac SRX. Both of these are SUVs that are also highly luxurious. The former reserves more room for passengers as well as cargo while the SRX is more or less a sporting car which is much smaller. Both have highly technological features that increase the utility of the models both on the road and in terms of entertainment.

Bluetooth and climate controls are some of the indicators of luxury in these new models. The surround music system in the cars is also worth mentioning. The Escalade EXT can easily be converted into a truck since it comes with a hood which can be retracted to form a pick-up bed. More power is what this model is all about. The 6.2 L engine tells it all. It is this V8 engine that makes this vehicle to fit into any type of surface.

Traction control is improved and the rearview camera was really a good idea. The four-wheel drive model comes with anti-lock brakes which are enhanced with highly stable control systems.

The 2009 Cadillac XLR V is also a new fashionable car design that comes in a glossy metallic exterior. The classic luxury features to be found here include a Driver Information System which comes in a head-up display mechanism. A hard top which is retractable, the DVD based navigator and the surround sound system altogether constitute luxury in this SUV. 

In India, Tata Nano is a city car that is the cheapest car ever. It is a four-passenger model that is expected to hit the international markets within the next three years. Though a city car, it will no doubt be making manufacturers of luxurious car rethink and redefine their innovation bandwagon.

Jazz, a maiden car from Honda has also entered the Indian auto market. This car was much awaited due to the high regard that Indians accord Honda cars. The 1200cc engine is specially designed to handle the tough challenges that it faces on the Indian surface. 

Maruti Suzuki is also a newcomer that is small in size but which can hold five people along with their luggage. The Car maker claims ownership to almost 50 % of Indian auto markets. The engineering work that went into making this car is amazing and one look at the car will confirm this.

M&M, a company that specializes in utility heavyweight vehicles is launching Xylo, a multi-utility vehicle. This is the greatest launch since the Scorpio. This model has a blend of both sophistication and style. It is an SUV which has features akin to those of a sedan. This is the versatility that makes the model suited for rugged terrain. Toyota’s Innova will be the main competitor of this model in this part of the world.

Fiat Grande Punto is a small car also entering the market this year. The look is really good. This is a mid-segment car that is set to give a facelift to the Fiat brand which has had ups and downs while attempting to cut out a niche in car markets.
